Steve Wells, President

As President of CTS Services, Steve is responsible for the operation of service and installation services.  Management experience includes positions of Field Supervisor, Area Manager, Service Manager, Vice President, with responsibilities for management of in excess of 100 employees. Steve has 30 years of experience in the HVAC industry and holds masters licenses in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, the District of Columbia and Pennsylvania. His service and installation background ranges from experience with fractional tonnage through systems in excess of 3,000 tons, including cooling towers, closed and open loop systems, pumps, heat exchangers, boilers, and central plants.


Steve Mantua, Senior Vice President

Steve has 27 years of industry experience.  He merged his former company, Mechanical Welding Services, with CTS Services in 2001. Prior to the merge with CTS Services, Steve owned and ran Mechanical Welding Services for 18 years.  With a strong background in mechanical welding and pipe fitting projects, Steve specializes in fabrication of all types of metal.  He also has mechanical experience with installation of all types of mechanical equipment, including towers, boilers, chillers, pumps and rigging. Steve has extensive experience in estimating and managing large time sensitive projects and multi-trade coordination.  Projects include multi-unit high rise retrofits, commercial and industrial.


Victor Weatherford, Vice President

Responsible for development and management of new business and marketing, Victor serves as Vice President for CTS Services. Victor has 24 years of experience in the HVAC industry and 16 of those years have been in sales and management positions. He has extensive experience in mission critical environments and electrical design, installation and service, including UPS systems, generators, and mission critical environments. Upon joining CTS Services, Victor brought a sales background that includes experience with split systems, rooftop units, computer room environmental units, chillers, boilers and critical electrical systems.


Patricia Childs, CFO/Controller

As Chief Financial Officer/Controller, Patricia directs the overall financial plans and accounting practices of CTS Services. She oversees treasury, accounting, budget and auditing practices of the organization, including preparation of all financial statements. Patricia has 20 years of construction accounting experience. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Accounting and received her CPA in 1985.


Tom Washington,
Service Operations Manager,

Tom has more than 20 years of experience in service operations and sales. His management experience includes positions of Assistant Service Manager and Director of Service Sales & Marketing. The service department at CTS Services is currently under Tom’s direction, and he is responsible for the activities of all service coordinators and service technicians. Tom is also the lead for the service department for the upcoming implementation of a new field management software package.
