MISSION CRITICAL PROJECTS

Federal Government Facility, Springfield, VA

CTS Services recently completed a renovation of an existing main frame data center for the Federal Government. The renovation included adding a 900 KW generator to an existing emergency generator plant, upgrading the existing generator paralleling gear, installing an additional 1300 KVA UPS and battery plant, multiple PDU’s, and the addition of 160 tons of computer room air conditioning (CRAC) units. This project was completed over an eight week period while maintaining full operation of the existing data center.

Research & Development Firm, Annapolis Junction, MD

CTS Services completed the mechanical systems for a new 12,000 square foot data center and associated office space in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. This project consisted of installing a new glycol loop, six (6) new computer room air conditioners, three (3) new large capacity drycoolers, and pump packages. The office space consisted of demolition of the existing air distribution system, engineering of a new air distribution system, and installation of new ductwork, registers, grills, and diffusers.

Federal Government Facility, Clarke County, VA

This project was very fast track. CTS Services completed the installation of a new 280-ton critical cooling system within four (4) weeks. The project included the installation of a new drycooler plant, ten new computer room air conditioning (CRAC) units, a new glycol loop consisting of approximately 1,600 feet of 4” glycol piping, and the associated domestic and condensate piping.
